Gary Fleming, President of Fleming Financial Planning, LLC , joined the board of Directors of The Brain Foundation in July 2006. Fleming brings to the organization his expertise in the areas of accounting, systems and financial analysis - a background that will enhance the foundation's efforts to continue and expand its services as well as the organizations responsibility as a steward of the public's wealth.
Fleming's extensive experience in financial planning and the private sector includes his position as founder and president of Fleming Financial Planning, LLC, a successful Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley & Co., an Accountant and Budget Supervisor at Mobil Oil Corp and an Auditor at Citibank, NA. In addition to his private sector experience, Fleming served as the first Financial Secretary of a new council of the Knights of Columbus in Clifton VA and President of the Fordham University Club of Washington DC.
Fleming is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Knights of Columbus and the Fordham University Club of Washington DC.
A Centerville, VA resident, Fleming received a B.S. in Marketing from Fordham University, an MBA from St. John's University and a certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University.
